The BI Series Instrument cables were specifically designed with the bass guitarist in mind.

The BI series cables utilize our Q-2200 series instrument cable which incorporates an

oxygen-free 18-gauge center conductor and a 95% coverage served shield as to provide a

more stable platform for lower frequency information transmission. The BI cables

incorporate nickel- plated G &H brand ¼” phone plugs to provide one of the most reliable

connections possible. The BI cable’s overall tonal response is tailored to provide a tighter

low frequency response, a more sedate upper midrange and slightly rolled off high frequency

range. The BI cable’s overall tonal response tends make this cable a viable choice for bassists

who prefer a rounder sounding response, and guitarists who strive for a more jazz oriented, or

vintage 50’s / early 60’s tone. Options for the BI series cables include right angle phone

plugs (suffix “R”) and/ or outer heat shrink (use “HBI” for series) for an extra fee.
